Hemas Hospital surgery department consists of a theatre complex which includes 5 theatres and an endoscopy unit. It is supported by the Day Treatment Unit where a patient can be brought in a few hours before a procedure takes place and is then kept for a few hours under observation prior to discharge.
The major theatre complex of the hospital consists of 2 main theatres with the latest horizontal guided air flow system which ensures an ultra clean environment. All theatres are equipped with the most modern equipment and design, built to consider the patient flow and processes. In addition, the complex is complete with a septic theatre and another standard theatre with four recovery beds supplementing the unit.
The Endoscopy Unit is complete with the latest equipment to enhance the imaging and supported by trained staff. The images can be printed or copied to a CD for future reference and patients’ details are stored for easy retrieval and follow up.
