Our Emergency Treatment Unit (ETU) focuses on initial treatment and stabilisation of acute illnesses and injuries that require immediate medical attention. While not usually providing long-term or continuous care, emergency medicine physicians diagnose a wide array of disease conditions and undertake acute interventions to stabilize the patient.

At Hemas Hospital ETU, we always put patient care first; hence our emphasis is on stabilizing patients who seek the services of the ETU irrespective of financial background and other limiting factors.

Hemas hospital ETU is a 3-bed unit and operates 24 hours on all 7 days of the week. All clinical staff including specialist consultants, doctors and nurses are available around the clock to attend to patients. The laboratory, radiology department and the electrocardiography unit make their services available to the ETU at all times.

Our ETU is equipped with wall oxygen, the latest monitoring equipment as well as qualified, trained nursing staff and doctors.
