The Open University of Sri Lanka, in collaboration with Hemas Group of Hospitals has initiated a Diploma Nursing Course designed to meet the needs of skilled nurses in the private sector.
Students with three passes in science stream ( bio science, agriculture or mathematics) are enrolled for this Nursing Diploma programme. The students would receive their clinical training at Hemas Hospitals. The age limit for the students will be between 18 and 25 years.
"The students are guaranteed of jobs within Hemas Hospitals group upon successful completion of this programme and they could look forward look forward to working in a rewarding environment.
In addition to general nursing, the course gives special emphasis on improving the English knowledge and the IT skills of the students.
The course fees of students are born by Hemas Hospitals and the students will also be paid an accommodation allowance and medical coverage during the training period. |
