Hemas hospital Day Treatment Unit is an air conditioned 8-bedded unit to facilitate day surgeries and procedures which do not last for more than 12 hours of hospital stay. Patients are admitted to the Day Treatment Unit for preparation prior to surgery or a procedure and would be observed until they are fit enough to be discharged after the procedure. The Day Treatment Unit would help patients to manage their hospital costs as the charges are applicable on an hourly basis and would prevent unnecessary stays in hospital for minor procedures. The Day Treatment Unit can also support the 3-bedded Emergency Treatment Unit as when a patient needs to be observed for few hours before discharge. |
